There is a 100% chance of that Saab being owned by a hipster.

Its actually owned by an Army Vet, there were carpentry tools in the front seat and car seats in the back. Plus the license plate says US Army

Looked at buying one some time back but salt is not nice to them. Still, it'd be a great thing to pick up for some rallycross at a later date.

damn that Saab brings me back. Bought a white one to learn manual on 5 years ago. Had the uber rare leather shift knob and boot. 900S. White. '93. In '93 (last year for the classic bodystyle) it got the 2.1L. Fun little car for a total shitbox.

"Fun little car for a total shitbox." 1
I've had an '89, '93, and '94. All Ss, all 3 doors. I liked em but they had the dumbest shit go wrong frequently lol. 0
That's Swedish engineering for you. In older Volvo's it's always like, "What do you mean the entire instrument panel just stopped working?" or something or other... 0
mine was more "what do you mean the shift linkage is longer than it used to be?" Or "whoops exhaust fell off" (twice) or "but we don't know how to tension these belts! The engine is in the wrong way!" 0
Hah, they always said Saab was the more 'exciting' brand... 1
Ah yes, "is the repair bill going to be 4 digits or only 3? In all the excitement of finding out what's wrong with it I lost track myself. But you gotta ask yourself 'do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?"
